The 352 Shift is a magazine we created highlighting local Gainesville non-profits, in response to the issues such as affordable housing, gentrification, and studentification.

In the magazine, we explore climate change's effect on affordable housing, as well as gentrification's effects on cultural preservation in Gainesville. As a team we wrote, designed, produced, and photographed the magazine in 3 weeks.
1. The Problem
Gentrification and cultural preservation are pressing issues in Gainesville, specifically climate change's effect on the access affordable housing. Through living in Gainesville we've seen a high population of homelessness and have noticed how the student population effects the local environment.
2. The Idea
Design an interactive magazine highlighting local Gainesville non-profits about housing, the beauty of Gainesville and also talks about studentification and its effect on historical communities.
3. Outreach
We created social media posts, posters, and posters for students to share information about gentrification to others.
